np: carrie underwood - before he cheats.

today was val's bday and we were blessed with great weather...not that cold and no rain whatsoever. spent the afternoon at the botanic gardens eating, laughing, singing, looking at swans. all in all a great day and val WAS surprised so yay!!! got a great video of her doing a rendition of coldplay's green eyes...and when i'm not feeling so lazy i'll upload it.becky's bro made an AMAZING, STUPENDOUS, WONDEROUS chocolate and raspberry cake for us.oh my God it was heaven on my tongue.

epl fixtures are out. the season starts on aug11 against reading and ends on may11 2008 against wigan. sept 1st we play sunderland away. sept22 against chelski at OT, Arsenal in london on Nov3, liverpool on dec15 at anfield, sunderland at OT on dec26. I CANNOT WAIT for that. roy keane's return YAY!!! liverpool at OT on mar22, arsenal at OT on apr12 and chelsea at the bridge on apr26. tricky starting and ending periods, but hopefully we can win the title again. also, hopefully, i'll have moved into a proper apartment with cable tv by then and i wont have to rely on lauyapok streams that always break down.

rafael nadal won the french open. amazing match, which i managed to catch online...had a pretty good stream. nadal=awesome. thats all i can say. he doesnt serve fast, only at abt 150-160 kmh on average, but cos he's a lefty, the ball spins and is totally unpredictable. he had 25 unforced errors compared to 55 by federer, who looked quite out of it. but who cares. 3 french opens in a row for the 21 year old who has made 10million bucks in his career. hopefully he can give federer a run for his money in wimbledon, tho i think fed is still the king of grass, but we shall see. end of june baby!!! its coming and the best part...i'll be in singapore at the time and can watch ALL the action on ESPN...God i miss cable tv.

i spent the last 2 days reading The Virgin Suicides. i remember the movie vaguely, but the book is pretty good in my opinion. i actually held my own wrists when i read about how one of the girls slit hers in the tub. *shudder*

gonna start my harry potter marathon soon. this is when i re-read all the potter books in anticipation for the release of a new book. gotta finish by the time i go home, cos i dun wanna lug the heavy book on the plane. 6 books in ten days. can i do it? yes i can.

the sister's having exams. am waiting impatiently for her to finish so we can hang out. i think she'll do well..she studied really hard, unless she was lying all those times she said she was studying when i tried to talk to her online. hahaha.

omg i just ate 20 tim tams in 2 days. i ought to be shot. nvm, i think i burned some calories when i walked from home to the botanic gardens, AROUND THE WHOLE GARDENS and back home again. that should be quite a few calories right? RIGHT??? ok dont answer that.

am off to watch lost now. i dunno why i still watch, but like melissa said, its like...started watching, so just watch la... i think the writers have no clue where they're going with this show, and neither do i, but what the hell...not like i have anything else to do.
